Experienced in all steps of the research process from survey design, telephone interviewing and advanced statistical analysis to project management and authoring an understandable executive report, Laurie approaches every project with the goal of giving managers the clear, insightful answers they seek through straightforward presentation of results. As a result, clients are properly positioned to use the information they gain from research more effectively in their organizations. Laurie started her career in marketing research with First Jersey National Bank, a $4 billion financial institution. During her tenure there, she studied the emerging automation of banking activities and customers' reactions to these changes. Laurie's work was instrumental in the institution developing new product and service offerings, as well as expanding into other geographic areas. Laurie subsequently worked for PMH Carammaning in Bloomfield, Michigan, where she specialized in conducting large-scale customer satisfaction survey and sales incentive programs for automotive manufacturers and other Fortune 500 firms such as Apple, John Deere, and Navistar International. As a Senior Research Analyst for GTSI, a leading reseller of computer hardware, peripherals, and software to government, Laurie helped establish a formal customer satisfaction survey process. She also executed a competitor tracking system. Moreover, Laurie implemented a variety of market surveys instrumental in guiding the company's strategic direction and formulating its marketing and public relations messages. |
