Senior Research Analyst
Nicole acquired significant research experience while earning her Ph.D. in Health Communication from the University of Connecticut. While at UConn, she held a research assistantship at the Center for Health Communication & Marketing (CHCM), a Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Center for Excellence. While at CHCM, Nicole focused on health promotion and media effects on health behaviors. Prior to graduate school, Nicole kicked off her career as an Assistant Marketing Manager and later a Project Manager at NBS Marketing, a small marketing broker in northern New Jersey whose clients include several national and regional brands in the consumer packaged goods industry. While at NBS, she analyzed and evaluated Information Resources Inc. (now Symphony IRI Group) scanner data on a quarterly basis for a national coffee company. She also worked on package redesign for a national beverage company and developed consumer programs and sales presentations for major retailers, including large supermarket chains and club stores. Nicole holds a B.A. in Communication from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an M.A. in Communication Sciences with a marketing concentration from the University of Connecticut. She is currently A.B.D. and anticipates completion of her Ph.D. by early 2013. |
