The new year is the perfect time to kick off an industry award program. According to research issued last year by Market Connections and Boscobel, industry awards can be a key part of a company’s thought leadership program, along with public relations, content marketing, social media and other activities.

There are two award calendars: one for government contractors, and one for women and minority owned businesses. The calendars give you information such as a description of the award, submission deadlines, website links, etc., based on information available to us at this time. These opportunities will help you build visibility for your company and top executives. Having an award in your company portfolio increases credibility and prominence, and shows government executives that you are an industry leader.

In the calendars you’ll find awards for executives, companies and even your customers. Nominating customers is a good way to raise their visibility and the successful outcomes of your program. The award nomination content could even be repurposed into a customer case study.
