Mari Canizales Coache has over 20 years of marketing experience with non-profit, higher education and government contracts. Her expertise includes brand management, digital and print marketing, event planning, project and account management and business development. With a strong background in marketing, promotions, public relations, brand strategy, event marketing, and project management, Mari effectively advises clients on how to maximize their thought leadership assets for marketing purposes to increase exposure and brand reputation.
In addition to marketing, Mari has solid experience working on issues in diversity and inclusion; collaborating on the development of internal diversity guidelines and employee cultural proficiency trainings; creating strategies for reaching and engaging diverse markets; and developing and marketing educational community diversity programs.
Mari graduated from George Mason University with a B.A. in International Studies and has completed post-graduate work in conflict analysis and resolution.
