Winning Contractor: CACI International Wins New Contracts and Supports Veterans During Today’s Uncertain Times - (Archived)

Founded in 1962 with a heritage in simulation software, CACI International is a leading provider of information solutions and services that support national security and government transformation.  With more than 15,000 employees in 120 offices worldwide, the company is a pioneer in supporting defense missions, safeguarding national security and helping government be more efficient.

While 2013 has been a challenging time for defense contractors, CACI International continues to provide winning solutions that help the DoD advance the mission, even in these austere times.

The company recently announced that it has been selected to provide academic and technical support to the National Defense University (NDU).  It was also awarded a $140 million contract to modernize the IT infrastructure of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC).

In addition, CACI Technologies recently won a $13 million contract modification to provide professional services in support of the Expeditionary Warfare Program Office.

CACI International leads the way with steady contract wins, programs to enhance job opportunities for veterans and much more — making it a “Winning Contractor.”

CACI International also formed two new business groups in 2013: C4ISR Solutions, and Missions Systems and Services.  These two new business groups will support emerging opportunities in these key areas in 2013 and beyond.

In terms of key third party validation of its business, the company received the very first accredited ISO 28000 certification in the United States ensuring supply chain security management.  In addition, CACI International’s Enterprise Information Technology Systems, Solutions, and Support (EITSSS) Division has been appraised at Maturity Level 5 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration for Services (CMMI-SVC).

CACI International is also boosting the power of its board of directors by bringing on Michael Daniels, the former chairman of Network Solutions. Mr. Daniels brings more than 25 years of experience in building and growing profitable organizations, and has held leadership positions with SAIC and NVTC.

Finally, the company was recognized by the White House for its support of Joining Forces, a national initiative to mobilize all sectors of society to give service members and their families education, wellness and job opportunities.

For showing a steady stream of new contract wins, enhancing its board of directors and being a company that supports veterans, we are proud to announce that CACI International is this week’s “Winning Contractor.” Stay tuned for more posts about contractors proving to be nimble in the face of challenging times in our new “Winning Contractor” series.
