For more than 50 years, General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems has been delivering world-class end-to-end intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) solutions to the defense, intelligence and homeland security communities.
The organization’s successes range from delivering the most mission-critical computers for Naval Aviation platforms, to providing camera systems on every mobile surveillance station on U.S. borders, as well as deploying full motion video solutions to more than 10,000 military users.

The company just won a $31.5 million contract for the performance-based logistics (PBL) support of the Advanced Mission Computers (AMC) in the Navy’s F/A-18 Hornet and AV-8B Harrier aircrafts. Earlier this year, it won a $19 million contract to produce Type-3 advanced mission computers for the same Navy program.
The company has also expanded business development growth in the cybersecurity arena. In March, it won a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) task order to support the National Cybersecurity Protection System (NCPS). In addition, the company’s Fidelis XPSTM cybersecurity solution was named as a “Visionary” in its 2012 Magic Quadrant for Content-Aware Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
One the keys to General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems’ success is its open architecture and open business model approach, which allows it to integrate and build mission-supporting systems that are affordable and effective.
General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems also has a solid corporate social responsibility (CSR) heritage that focuses on supporting the next generation. The company is a sponsor of the FIRSTTM organization, which encourages young adults to pursue careers in science and technology. It also supports Our Military Kids, which provides extracurricular activity grants to children of deployed and severely injured National Guard and Reserve service members.
