It was a good summer for Pacific Architects & Engineering (PAE), a leading provider of integrated global mission services to the U.S. government and its allied partners. The company is nominated for the 12th Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards™ (Contractor of the Year-greater than $300 million). The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce (Fairfax Chamber) and Professional Services Council (PSC) announced the finalists for this premier awards event for the renowned Washington area government contracting community. Presented annually, the awards honor the leadership, innovation and commitment to excellence of the individuals and businesses in the region’s government contracting sector. The winners will be named at a November 13 gala dinner at The Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner.
PAE will have much to celebrate at the gala. The company has recently had three important contract wins:
- A potentially $359 million contract to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s Atlantic Test Range and Atlantic Targets and Marine Operations Division. Under this contract, PAE will provide systems operations, laboratory and field testing, marine operations and target support services, engineering, range sustainability, maintenance, data reduction and analysis, the company said in a release.
- A PAE-Raytheon joint venture win for an $80.2M option to support 45th Space Wing at Cape Canaveral.
- A PAE Aerospace Testing Alliance (ATA)—a joint venture between JE Jacobs, PAE and GP Strategies—win for a $224M option to support Air Force complex in Manchester, Tennessee.
- A PAE–Parsons joint venture win for a potential eight-year, $532 million contract to continue supporting base operations of the U.S. Navy and Air Force in Guam. DZSP 21 will help manage ports, ordnance, water and wastewater plants, galleys, and utility distribution systems at the Joint Region Marianas installation.
The approximately 15,000 members of PAE’s global workforce work in more than 60 countries, on all seven continents, and in some of the world’s most challenging regions. Defense News named PAE one of the Top 100 Defense contractors in 2014. The company attributes its success to the quality of our work and the integrity and high ethical standards that define our business operations.
PAE’s current portfolio of offerings include industry-leading capabilities in range support services; space system operations; maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services; domestic and overseas infrastructure support; expeditionary logistics; capacity building; medical staffing services and training.
Through its continued commitment to service, PAE is making a mark on the defense contracting arena, earning them a FedPulse winning contractor commendation.
