Winning Contractor: SAIC Lands $549M Contract To Support GSA Enterprise Operations IT Infrastructure

Science Applications International Corp won a $549 million task order to support the operations and maintenance of the General Services Administration’s information technology infrastructure. With nearly $40 billion under spend-management and 354 million rentable square feet of property under building-management, GSA serves federal, state and local governments. The GSA Enterprise Operations (GEO) contract will provide operations support across GSA to more than 16,000 users serving critical mission areas worldwide. Winning Contractor: L-3 Wins Contract to Integrate Mission Systems for C-130J Aircraft for U.S. Coast Guard

L-3 Communications won a $30 million contract from the U.S. Coast Guard to install next-generation mission system suites in two C-130J aircraft. The U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Navy jointly developed the government-owned mission system, which operates across multiple platforms. The total value of the contract, awarded in early October, is about $93 million with all options exercised.  L-3 Platform Integration in Waco, Texas, will perform the work. Under the five-year contract, L-3 will integrate mission systems on two baseline C-130J long-range surveillance aircraft.
